New parent intro

Do you have Asthma or Allergies:I have seaonal allergies, as does my husband
Relation to Asthma/Allergy sufferer:Parent
Age of child:6 months
Has child been diagnosed with Asthma/ Allergies/ both:Diagnosed with cow milk and egg allergies
If so, how long ago: Friday
Is child on any medications or inhalers:No
If yes, what:
What is your medication routine:Since my daughter is still breast fed we are just trying to get the milk and eggs out of my system and her's.

Does anyone know of an egg subsitute that doesn't contain eggs? Or maybe of a way of adapting recipes that are supposed to use eggs?

Oh man I'll have to look around but I rememebr once using a replacement for an egg that was water and oil and something else...maybe. I'll have to look around...I wasn't tryng to avoid the egg, I just didn't have any and I was mid-recipe when I realized it.

Make sure you tell your pediatrican about the egg allergy and have it written ON her chart, because a LOT of vaccines are made with an egg base and can cause a reaction.

Thanks for the website! She also showed a possiblity of being allergic to soy and peanuts, so I'll probably avoid the tofu ideas.

I didn't know that about vaccines, so I'll definately have questions for her Ped at the next appointment.
